The NetOps Specialist is a highly-skilled network support technician, with an advanced understanding of network concepts that allows for expedited issue resolution. This individual is responsible for handling escalated network problems, and is a key intermediary between FOS, our clients, and various service providers.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues such as static routing, firewall rules, VLAN assignment, port forwarding, etc. Internal Department Communication, especially regarding service onboarding and offboarding Complex Troubleshooting of existing network. Work with ISP during network service upgrades to support new hardware installation Responsible for network onboarding (new installs), as well as prepping the cloud host/platform with an initial configuration Working with onsite team to enforce device ailas naming scheme and scheduled upgrades.
